Yeah, I haven't heard that one either. But it was talked about that he was very high on lsu before the surprise Clemson commitment.

He said LSU is VERY much still in the mix, that Nkemdiche has "initiated contact" throughout the process with LSU Coaches, that it is highly possible that he actually favors LSU but is getting family pressure to go elsewhere, that LSU is losing FOUR DE's and he has a legit shot to start/contribute heavily on a top FIVE team that needs him, etc etc...
