He's a main component of "Mario bros" so nah.  I mean a game where said character is a guess star. I know there's got to be more than kratos but I played MK on the vita and looked at the soul caliber and he was in both along with ps all stars. Must be a coincidence bc there's gotta be more. I know star wars characters are in a few games. link maybe?

How many of those are Mario games, luigi game(s), wario games, dr Mario, etc? Mario is excluded from this convo bc he spawned so many games himself.

After looking it up, most of Mario's "appearances" are in games where he, or someone he made famous is featured in the title. And donkey kong... Lots and lots of donkey kongs.

Nintendo lives off of Mario. Zeldas are the best Games ever but I'm afraid without Mario, Nintendo just wouldn't produce the games to compete with PS/Xbox...
The wii went a totally different direction, while innovative, just isn't that good of a library. Nintendo has lacked a halo, devil may cry, god of war, etc. a game that isn't cartoonish and kiddy.

And they've been around for almost 100 year bc for some time that's all there was. If play station or Xbox had started "the revolution" like Nintendo has, Nintendo wouldn't even be an afterthought.

I'm very worried about Nintendo this generation.
This the first console in a long time they sell at a loss.
The WiiU might be their Dreamcast.

Wii sports outsold other games bc it came with the damn wii... How do you include that in your arguement. The wii was the first of its kind. Had it been playstation or Xbox then Nintendo would be a non factor.
