| LSU basketball depth (Posted on 12/12/12 at 5:19 pm)
To be honest, I think we're a little more deep than even I thought we'd be. Guys like Morgan, Collins, and Hammink are looking better than I expect for freshmen. Stringer, Carmouche, and Coleman are all playing like the upperclassmen they are. I'm not saying we're a tourny team (yet) but I think we're gonna do some work. Hickey Carmouche Morgan JOB3 Del Piero Carmouche Stringer Hammink Coleman Collins --------- Courtney Ludwig those top 10 guys are getting a lot of minutes and then Courtney and Ludwig are contributing here and there. I can remember games where only 7 men played. Getting 10-12 on the court is something else even if they might be out talented here and there

I wasn't expecting much from Charles Carmouche at all but I think he's a nice college basketball player

man he and Collins looked good (except Collins needs to finish better around the rim) 29 points, 6 assists, 5 boards, 3 steals.... they filled in admirably for Hickey IMO

I'm praying that we go dancin' this year. Definitely not getting my hopes up, but I feel as fans that we deserve it

if we dance it will take something extreme for me not to go. I have a decent record of seeing us in NCAA games... UAB L Duke W UT W UCLA L anything .500 or better for LSU hoops is pretty solid since the dawn of the Brady era

CC has probably been my favorite player thus far. Always seems to be in the right place/right time on the court. Can't wait to see how his game translates once the tougher competition kicks in

I've never been to an NCAA tourney game with LSU involved, but I'll definitely go hopefully this year or next if we go. I have been to a couple of LSU SEC tourney games and I've been to an elite 8 and final four without LSU CJMFJ will lead us to the promise land though fwiw

Don't know why he wouldn't... He's been good, but not great, doubt he'd be a lottery pick or anything at this point, but hey maybe I'm wrong

I love post season hoops tournys. I went down to NOLA for the SECT after we beat Arkansas (had work that day) and had a blast with 15,000 UK fans and maybe 1000 from the rest of the 11 SEC schools combined Been to the SECT in Nashville and ATL too. Nashville is easily the best venue for it because its closer to so many passionate fan bases. I remember a couple years back we played A&M in Houston while Texas was playing Sparty. Sparty had more fans in Houston than LSU did. BY A LOT.

Big Baby and Brandon Bass were second round picks. Imagine in 2005-2006 if we would have been bringing Tyrus OFF THE BENCH and starting: Temple Mitchell Mitchell Bass Davis

what's funny is courtney's best career game was prob. last season vs. boise. i believe he will ride into taco bell arena friday night atop a light colored palomino steed waving his saber as ludwig and the three walk ons do the sprinkler to andrew del piero's tuba rendition of 'i could've danced all night'.

March Madness is possibly the greatest thing on earth, even before the tourney, when teams are fighting just to get in Nola last year was a blast for the Arky game, and I honestly loved being able to watch games back to back and come back later that night for two more games. So amazing, but sadly UK had more fans than both LSU and Arky. It was sad the next day when we played UK and Hickey was disappoint at the LSU fanbase.

I just remember Boise couldn't make shite against us last year and Ludswag fricked on some dude taking a transition mid-range jumper. He sent that shite in the seats, literally
