Reason is a longstanding libertarian mag funded by the Koch Bros....I don't think they have a problem with what libertarianism means...perhaps self-proclaimed libertarians here have trouble understanding that libertarianism is multi-layered and when voting for a lesser-evil some may choose the promise of social-liberalism by the Dems (though false and dumb expectation) over the lack of it found in the Rep party....knowing full-well that neither really are fiscally conservative.
Most libertarians I know did not vote....they view it as pointless.

The OP was talking about younger people than you. I have no doubt that you understand Lib. But I have encountered teenagers who claim to be Libertarian - Marxists. They are too young to understand how stupid that is.

So your assumption is because you have anectdotal evidence from a Libertarian Convention that since there were no women or teenagers there is no such thing as a young liberarian or a woman libertarian for that matter.
That is quite dumb as well.

They actually call themselves libertarian socialists, not marxists.
And they took it from noam chomsky. Who took the charge on it from a movement in the 1800s, with roots in the anarchy movement.
Its the concept of social anarchy, which is quite different than the capitalist anarchy that you probably advocate. Basically there is no leader, all decisions are communal, no property, but also no rules. I think its unworkable, but its the current banner for the anarchists who protest at WTO and the like.
