I wonder how few people realize just how close we are to a fascist state...if not already there. I don't think most people even know what fascism is.

Initially I thought Obama was a Statist; however, what he is instituting is the epitome of fascism and people are too naive to see it.

I'm glad this word 'fascism' is being slung around lately, I know this is an online board, but I think it represents what is going on in the real world. Hopefully people get educated on the topic of fascism and it brings down these partisan walls.
You can't call libs socialist, and blame them entirely for fascism. At some point you have to realize that your own kind is to blame too.
HempHead said WW1 is a good starting point, and he is right. That's a solid starting point. Do you all know what was created the year before WW1? The Federal Reserve. The elite money men of the world are behind our fascist roots, not simply libs or conservatives.

You're absolutely correct.
Woody Guthrie used to have a sticker on his guitar "this machine kills fascist".. this word slowly faded and today it's a total unknown. It's no surprise that in this cable television era it's something you never hear about. It's just red vs blue, capitalism vs socialism, they socially engineered our society this way to hide the truth that we are and have long been a fascist nation. By straight definition, we are fascist.
