Have you ever heard of buying insurance and saving for your own retirement, I know that's a novel idea but people did it for hundreds of years, and there was no fricking health insurance.

the whole reason to OP was started. Insurance mandate.

and do you really think the majority of those in the service industry actually save for retirement?

This is happening in our area also. For a number of years there has been a general trend towards outsourcing full-time IT type jobs but now even those jobs are becoming part-time positions.

Fail. You're a hypocrite already. You are against government, but if the police use the taser against a harmless drunk then it's okay.

Not gonna happen. Who in their right mind would want to double their payroll taxes?

double payroll taxes? payroll taxes are set by how much u make, doesn't matter how many jobs you have. 6.2% for SS and 1.35% for medicare (2% SS holiday expires at 1st jan, so 4.2% SS now)

employer pays the same

Social Security

based on average income worked over last 35 years. If reporting minimum wage, will not amount to very much...

unless you are talking about the extra paperwork the accounting department has to do then that is minimal with software

if you had 100 guys making $8/hr working 40 hrs a week or if you have 200 guys making $8/hr working 20 hrs a week, you pay the same payroll taxes for both groups

what u save on is is not having to pay to insurance "tax" on those 100 guys....

Y'all just don't see the brilliance of Dear Leader.

The brilliance is in the fact that these low knowledge people like the one in the OP will ultimately blame the business...instead of the very legislation that forced these changes.

FUTA and SUTA are also based on total labor costs, not per person

5.4% SUTA and 0.8% FUTA
