I'm shocked. Didn't you know that unions are non-partisan?

Haha it is unbelievable how idiotic you people are. I hope people like yourself keep getting your news from people like Rush, Hannity, and O'Reilly. Moderates and young people do not listen to that garbage. As long as the G.O.P. continues to endorse messages of hate, sexism, and racism the popular vote will continue to swing in the Democratic party's direction. I hope the Republicans wake up soon, we will all be better off.

That's a contradiction. If you think Dems are good and GOP is bad you would want GOP to keep doing hate, sexism and racism so you can always win.

No, it is not a contradiction. Yes, I am Democrat. This does not mean that I want the Republican party to continue on the same course. You see, I am not a small minded imbecile. I think we are better off when both parties are actually working, together with the other, for all Americans. Fact: Politics is the art of compromise. Republicans obviously do not understand this. They think that very definition is a liberal interpretation of the word. Thats how dumbed down that party has become.

If they are working harmoniously, you can rest assured that you and I are fricked.

How is this fact?

Here's an idea toolbag: why don't you stick with the topic of conversation, pursue some sort of counter-evidence and present an intelligible thought contradicting what the OP has said?

I'll answer that for you: You won't and its because you can't. In addition to being far too incapable to produce a unique, civilized thought based on sheer intellectual fortitude (or lack there-of in your case); you are simply too lazy. Stupidity partnered with laziness, the typical liberal.

The OP didn't speak about any of the things you mentioned, not that any of those topics are commonplace throughout conservative media as you seem to believe. What is actually a common topic for conversation amongst conservative commentators is the pure idiocy people like you exhibit every time you open your mouth and parrot the liberal media without leveraging some sort of resource or citation.

OT: Rush often gets it right. I used to avoid listening to him when I was in college. Back when I was dangerously close to becoming a mush brained liberal.

Ah, so you want the GOP to become part of the Dem party. That's called Totalitarianism.
Re: compromise...Uh, Obama is not moving. The GOP is moving. Try to pay attention. People might think you're an imbecile.

Aside from the Civil War and Vietnam I don't America has ever been this polarized. I am also starting to get concered that there is no way out of the political wilderness for the Republican party.

Why would one aspire to be like the moderates and the young?

With age comes wisdom. There is a reason that people tend to become more conservative with age.

re: Rush Nails it on Unions

Rush has evolved. My two favorite radio guys are Rush and Neal Boortz. Boortz was banned in our area because he's too brutal when telling the truth.

I've always said that the major difference between Rush and Boortz was simple. Rush is an optimist who believes in the intelligence of the American people.
Boortz believes that the American people are a bunch of morons. I always agreed with Boortz.

Now, Rush has come over to the truth. He calls them "low information voters." They are not low information. They are morons.

BOORTZ wins. Rush changes his position.

You mean like this?
Reid says he can't work with Romney

Or this?
LINK
quote:

The president will not even discuss Social Security, the White House says, on the ground that it is not a big contributor to the deficit. As for Medicare, the president is willing to make relatively modest savings by passing more of the cost of the programme to drug companies (by haggling for lower prices) and to the rich (by making them pay more for their coverage). Neither of these ideas, while sensible enough in itself, is remotely radical enough for Republicans’ tastes. Nor is the sum the president proposed to save as a result: $400 billion, just a quarter of the $1.6 trillion he is seeking in tax increases.

Such tough talk delights the left, however. Mr Obama’s stance, says the AFL-CIO, America’s biggest trade-union federation, “keeps faith with the voters”. Bernie Sanders, a senator who describes himself as a socialist, has commended the president for his refusal to touch Social Security. “Thanks for fighting to end Bush tax cuts for top 2%,” tweeted Move On, a left-wing pressure group.

Or maybe you're speaking of this?
quote:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday offered an amendment to force a vote on President Obama’s deficit-reduction plan, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was having none of it

Could it be this?
Reid refuses to bring budget to the floor

Perhaps it's this one?
Obama administration as walking away from a nearly done agreement with Boehner.

Help a brotha out... is it this you're referring to?
Obama rejects GOP 'fiscal cliff' offer, says tax rates must rise

This one maybe?
Harry Reid said Tuesday Democrats aren't going to make an offer on spending cuts for Republicans

If you believe only the republicans are being unyeilding, you've been duped by the media's narrative. Congratulations on being a stooge. Maybe one day you can move up to "useful idiot" status.

I'm both of those and I don't mind Rush. I think he's just blunt about everything and that's why he's criticized. Young people don't listen to these guys because they have been brainwashed by pop culture into thinking FNC is the only media outlet with bias. I have liberal friends who are unwilling to admit there's any liberal bias in the media.

The topic of conversation was him saying that Rush nailed it on Unions. I am saying that people listening to Rush, and the like, is hurting the Republican party nationally. Their messages (which are NEVER in support of minorities, women, or people living in poverty) are not working with moderates or new voters. After listening to what Rush Limbaugh has to say about ohhh lets say immigration, hispanic voters really do not have a choice but to vote for a Democrat. Jacer, I have a degree in political science. I dont need to waste my time (already doing so) typing up an essay of why the Republicans will continue to lose the popular vote, I just know that they will as long as they keep doing what they are doing. Republican Party leaders know this too, thats why they are desperately working on changing/rebranding the party.
