Once again you post B.S. State constitutions dictate what may and may not be done on state university campuses. In the vast majority of states you forfeit your right protecting you against search and seizure when you live in a college dormitory. I know no warrant is required in Louisiana and I would bet the same rule applies in Kentucky regardless of what the university policy is.

whole bunch of fail to go around here. Cops need to learn Policy and procedure and get their own cameras and the kid is still a punk, protected by the constitution, but still immature.

You sign a contract when you move into a state run college dorm and you absolutely do waive many of your rights when you do so. Believe what you will as it makes no difference to me one way or the other. I will correspond with you no longer as you lack the ability to communicate in a civil manner. Not defending either side, but if entry is authorized a warrantless search may occur under exigent circumstances. Likewise, considering the small size of the dorm, a cursory search for weapons within the students "control" may also be authorized. Finally, a cursory looksee of what may be in plain view is also allowable , although there is a line between this and a search (as you know ). Often that line is crossed.

What training or education on Civil Rights do police receive? How are they tested on such?

I would hope that they all completed a civics class in High school or at least have been through some criminal justice courses, maybe a poster in their office with just the bullet points of our constitution...that video had hints of anarchy all over it.
