Does Sean Payton really work for the Hornets? (Posted on 12/11/12 at 3:42 pm)
Sorry if this has been beaten into the ground, but I see this posted every so often. All I see is "he works with the hornets" and that's it. No mention of what he does if true.
Can anyone confirm he is in fact working for the Hornets or is it just hear say?

It has been mentioned before as a throw in comment in an actual article. Don't have time to dig it up now, but it's not just forum rumor mongering, it's from actual media reports.

I just binged "Sean Payton Benson Hornets" and the first result was a thread with a link to your proof from The ESPN. If you don't like talking to a-holes maybe next time you should ask a search engine instead.

That's why I don't think he's going anywhere. Presumably Jerry Jones is trying to steal Payton and that leak about Benson suing the league was Tom telling the league to make Jerry back off.
