Secondly, and I know it is very soon, but make sure the remaining family lawyers up. Something went very wrong here. If the implant(s) they used to repair his cuff were compromised (no longer sterile) or were expired, then they need to find this out. It is also possible instrumentation was compromised.
There will be a record in his chart of everything implanted into his shoulder.

Very sorry for your loss. I lost a close friend of mine a couple days before Thanksgiving to cancer, he was 39.
My prayers and condolences are with you and your family. Keep your faith in the Lord, he will give you strength.
