That's their MO, always has been with Brown, they rarely offer guys unless they are CERTAIN of their comitt.

we left 4-5 spots open in '12, so now we can count 7-9 towrds last year (due to ony having 76 guys on scholly), then take a full 25. We will have 6-8 guys coming in at midterm.

Depth charts could be a factor, i.e. if one school has a log jam of WR's. A+M may fill up with a bunch of WR's after the year they have had, Heisman trophy, RSJ and more big time recruits, etc.

Johnny Football deserved the Heisman this year. Not so much because of how he played, but the fact that there was no one better. That being said, I predict he will be the first Heisman trophy winner ever, to not even get drafted into the NFL. 70% of his production was on broken plays. He was succesful in the first half of games and then teams figured him out. With a year of footage in the books, all defenses will know how to play him, which is not to blitz, to contain his scamble and stick to coverages in the secondary. He is small, has an average arm and just above average speed. Next year is going to be a rude awakening for him and A&M

I want some of what you are smoking if you think Manziel will leave A&M early for NFL or CFL!
He is a very good COLLEGE QB with average arm and probably 5'10" tall.
Not much demand in the first or second round about for a QB with those stats!
