and yet won a shite load of games and went to three BCS bowls in a row with that non-big time talent. plus let's not forget all the players 2B's has sent to the NFL. so yeah, his lack of recruiting what you consider to be big time talent is a non-issue
oh and 2B's 3 BCS bowls >>>> BP's 1 BCS bowl. arky's current hire is better than our last hire and BP is a better coach than any of the other three hires by SEC teams

This is not going to end well for WKU. Either Petrino leaves them at the drop of the hat for a better gig or he leaves the program in pretty much the same condition he's left all of his previous jobs -- broken and with those holding the bag full of acrimony.
I'd be shocked if Petrino is still the coach at WKU in two years. This gig is what's best for Petrino, not WKU. Hopefully, he won't open up WKU up to an untold number of lawsuits like he did at Arkansas. That would be a step in the right direction.

In a round about way, you are making my point. You can get away with that in a shitty Big 1G where two of the better teams are on probation and the conference sux every year. You cannot get away with 6-8 schools in your conference out-recruiting you if you are competing in the SEC. Not really rocket science here. You guys are in for a rough few years. Miss state or Ole Miss now have a shot to jump Arkansas and stay above the Hogs for the next decade or so. Arkansas has maybe 1-4 top recruits every year. He has to go out of state and pull guys that are considering LSU, Bama, Aub, Texas, AM, UGA, TCU, Oklahoma, and other national recruiting staffs. It wont happen. You guys will be lucky to have a top 30 class. LUCKY
