| What are the 5 best CFB programs right now? (Posted on 12/10/12 at 4:28 am)
In no particular order: Florida Bama LSU Oklahoma Struggling to find a 5th...Texas maybe? They've had a couple of crappy years but will always be extremely high up on the recruiting rankings. And they have their own TV network.

Bama LSU Florida Oregon Oklahoma/Florida State? But I can definitely see Texas A&M becoming taking one of those spots in the next year or 2. IMO, they will continue to get better while UT will steadily decline

It's going to take a Florida 1991-2009 type run to overcome the bad taste of 1999-2011.

I won't argue too much but does one 6-7 year make the OSU program not top 5? I mean they had 2 top 5 years the previous 2 years, and where pretty good throughout the 00s. And they are going to finish top 5 this year, whether they should or not

I wouldn't have OU in my top 5. USC is in turmoil. Texas is stagnant. In no order LSU Bama Oregon Florida FSU It wouldn't take much persuasion for me to put A&M in there.

I agree with these 4. I am not sure on a 5th. I would put Ohio St in before OU tho. As of right now.

Ehh I like that list more than most, but is Florida going to be there every year or is this a fluke year for them? I mean they have been mediocre for 3 years before this year. I know they have the talent to be there, but are they going to win 10+ from now on? I think Stanford may have some sort of strange argument...they've been very good the past 3 years

Reason I didn't include Oregon is cause while they are good, they haven't really had much BCS bowl success and they haven't won an NC in the BCS era. Texas has a title and might have another one if not for that McCoy injury. Oklahoma and Ohio State have both been really good but seem to choke in big games. USC is headed down the shitter it seems with Kiffin at the helm.

The same could be said for tOSU right? Florida has had 2 BCS titles since your last.
