He's taking a $9 million hit this year, and the salary cap is set to drastically increase, and Rodgers and Brady will both be getting larger contracts. Manning is getting a very similar contract despite his injuries

Players make bad decisions with plays that are called and some players do better in situations. For example...3rd and long. I'd rather see a PT screen all day than Sproles losing 3 yards and settling for a field goal.
