get some blades so you have to get excellent swings for good hits.

US kids. Best in the biz for beginner sets. Size chart is the easiest and most innovative. And they even have lefty sets.

Go to Academy and get a set. There's no reason to get fitted or name brand clubs until you've had some lessons and can comfortably swing the club the same way all the time.

Get a lesson first, don't worry about being bad because only no one gives two shits, if you're to afraid to go and practice you will never be good. After the lesson get a set of irons, driver and putter. The putter shouldn't be more than fifty, and find the cheapest irons you can, the have a lot of old models that are UNUSED, but still at a low price because no one wants the old model.

There is one club that's the best in BR, it's private, and it's not off Highland Road,

Get some decent clubs but don't get the shitty $100 sets. The worst advice is to get a shitty set because you are a shitty golfer. Dicks or Academy should have some decent beginner sets of Taylor Made or Callaways that you can get for around $300.

Yea, but not in a while, and I would want to get lessons so I don't form any bad habits

Thats what I did, I went golfing once, found out I was decent with the driver and decided to give it a shot. Got about 4 different lessons, then bought these nike irons/hybrids. I have a new set now so these are just hanging around.

Lessons are a good idea. What kind of clubs have you hit with?

The smart thing to do is not EVEN begin to start playing this game. Its way too expensive and the only thing you really get out of it is stress and frustration. Spend 4 + hours doing something constructive like wood crafts make some wooden toys or something..... The beginners clubs your about to purchase will be the number one reason that you will suck at. They will either be too long or too short for you, thus leading to the reason why you dont hit the ball straight EVER.

You must have one hell of a slice and suck at putting.

I have. Was this vedio that came out called "Shot the ball as straight as you can point or get your money back". Cost $500. It was a set of 6 veds telling you how to swing. Me and about 10 other friends pitched it. Was will worth it. Bottom line DONT BY CHEAP arse Clubs. Go spend the money and get fitted. If not, you will spend 1000's on lessons, practicing, clubs...etc when you could have bought a good set and saved your self grief...

I called it the BANANA slice! Up until I got the vedio and changed everything. Putting and chipping is what really saved me before the video.
