"... And Justice For All" is what I consider to be the pinnacle of Metallica's music. MOST people like to say that "Black" was their best album, but I disagree. "Black", IMHO, was what gave them fame and crossover appeal. "Justice" was the last time Metallica stuck to their thrash metal roots. "Justice" was what got me into thrash, which led me to bands like C.O.C, Slayer, Anthrax, and Testament. Thrash led me to punk bands like Black Flag, Minor Threat, Agnostic Front, Naked Raygun, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, et al. All the bands listed, plus others, helped to form my early music tastes, and left me open minded enough to discover different music tastes later. ... Yes, I'm day drunk while waiting to take my engagement pictures. /rant
