Do more car accidents happen during holiday season? (Posted on 12/9/12 at 9:24 am)
Got a call last night from my dad, one of his friends was lost in a car accident last night where he was traveling down the interstate and a car from the other side crossed median and hit him head on. It just ALWAYS seems like thanksgiving-chistmas every year there are several people i know that lose their lives during the holiday season, rather it be car accident, accidents at work, or something totally random. I was wondering if i was the only one to have this happen or if it sounds familiar to anyone else? Either way, stay safe and tell the ones close to you how much you love them every day.

Yes. More people on the roads. More people drinking and then driving. More depressed people during the holidays (leading to more drinking and driving). Bad weather conditions. All leads to more tragic, fatal accidents this time of year.
