Can i point out that MSNBC's morning show is named after a former republican congressman. Can Fox point to any of their programs that is hosted by someone clearly on the other side, much less one in a main slot like the morning show.

That's a perfectly reasonable post, imo.

Morning Joe is the best program on MSNBC in my opinion.

I'm sort of with you on this one. He's a prick. Got his start running cases for a couple of law firms in NYC years ago.

I like it a lot. It brings in a lot of variety in addition to pure politics.

I would also argue that Fox is every bit as biased as MSNBC
In this election cycle, both were bad but MSNBC was much worse. Somebody posted a link to the statistics and how many positive to negative stories they ran for each candidate. CNN leans left but has several people who are willing to call it straight. For example, AC360 let Ogump have it for the lies about GST Steel. They were even better in 2008, when Drew Griffin gave reports on Ogump's history of sleazy political tactics and defended Palin against Troopergate allegations. So I'd say they might not be perfect but they also can't be accused of being a propaganda outlet.

I'm sure Fox was happy that Obama was reelected so they could continue selling anger and fear towards liberals. Negative hyperbole is a mega seller.

Madcow and Schultz agree with your winning formula, they are just sad you didn't include them in your comment.

I guess it's ok that you enjoy having your back scratched, but you really should try and avoid this type of behavior.

I only watched MJ for the last year, and haven't turned it on since the election. But, I don't recall a single instance of Scarborough criticizing Democrats that he didn't admonish the GOP in the process, usually for their response to whatever he was criticizing about the Democrats. If you think he's a warrior for the right on that show, you're sadly mistaken.

Greta Van Susteren hosts On The Record in prime time. I've never considered her to be even remotely a hard line right winger. Re: Morning Joe, it's the only show on MSNBC worth watching.

MJ used to be a decent program. Unfortunately Joe's gone stale. As you point out, he is virtually never critical of Democrats w/o tossing the GOP under the bus as well. Not so with any of his guests. The format was always 90% Democrat guests (according to Scarborough), and normally 4 of the 5 discussion participants were Democrat (5th being Scarborough). At the show's inception, JS focused on moving guests off of talking points and into reasonably intelligent dialogue. Not so much now. Over the last 6-12 mos, MJ has nearly become unwatchable. Fox and Friends is horrible. CNBC runs a good morning show. Balanced political discussions obviously with an economic focus.

Doesn't S.E. Cupp have a show? Seems that would be worth watching even with the sound off.
