Damn, it seems like yesterday. Hard to believe that I was 29 at the time. I heard the news on the radio while driving to court for a trial.
I remember singing "Beautiful Boy" from the "Double Fantasy" album over and over to my son when he was a baby. While I disagreed with John Lennon on most things political, he was an amazing musician/lyricist.
R.I.P., John.

I am a pretty big fan even though he died before I was born. Funny coincidence that I have been listening to some of his music for the last week.
On another note, I watched an interview with the murderer a while back. Apparently he craved fame. He thought that if he killed a Beatle then He could absorb some of that fame. Guy was nuts.
