Reread the prologue to Feast. The Alchemist is deadon with Arya's description of the 2nd Jaqen. Its speculation, but pretty solid.

Yep. The fact that Pate shows up to talk to Sam later in the book after he already died in the prologue is proof that the person who kills him is a Faceless Man. The fact the description of the person who kills Pate matches Arya's description of Jaqen after he changes his face in ACOK makes him Jaqen.

I got this theory after reading http://www.tor.com/blogs/2012/12/a-read-of-ice-and-fire-a-storm-of-swords-part-11 first read of Storm of Swords yesterday. Jeyne Westerling's grandmother was a maegi. What if she passed her knowledge down to her daughter, Sybell Jeyne's mother.Sybell seeing the Robb was wounded taking the castle slips in a potion into a drink for Robb and has her daughter take care of him.
I always thought it a little odd that the daughter of the castle he just conquered was taking care of the King of the North. I think Sybell made sure her daughter was around Robb a lot, so that when the potion would make him act rashly around her and ruin everything.

I just don't see how none of you guys can see that the end of this series will not be about who is sitting on the iron throne or who rules what land or resides in what castle.
"Winter is coming" and the series is called ASO "Ice" and "Fire". This will ultimately be about man vs The Others/White Walkers - and it will take all the Houses of Westeros united plus dragons to defeat the Wights.
