Just caught the comment while surfing the radio last nite, the AD was on the Southern Report & said he anticipated having the list down to 6 by this wkend & then interviews would start next wk. No names mentioned.

At one time I heard Jabbar Juluke's name as a possibility. I don't know how serious that was though. As good as I think coach Juluke is, I don't think that would be a good hire for Southern, or a good job for him to take.

Trooper (HC) and Luper (OC/RBC) together again would be a great team at Southern University. They could continue the "Big Cat" recruiting weekend in Baton Rouge. Southern needs good recruiters who can bring in the best talent for a team that has been having down years. With Trooper as coach the team energy could almost be as high as Southern's Band.

Pete will never be back! and that would be a horrible decision... Pete killed us with the APR stuff.
The AD really likes Brian Jenkins of Bethune Cookman University. He coached
at ULL from 2002-2008, so he knows the area.

Damn, this is what happens when you get old. You forget stuff that happened in the last few years. You are correct sir, Pete doesn't deserve another chance. He tried his best to kill Southern.
