I don't think they really give a shite about that. It's most likely because they can't trust him to be honest with them since he probably lied to his former bosses.

I am just so glad and thankful that we did not get Bobby Petrino to coach at LSU. A walking scandal like him would do us all no good.

Arkansas State, La Tech or USM would be foolish to not at least entertain the idea if he's at all interested.
ETA: Tennessee should just hire him and tell all of their supposed "billionaire boosters that will pay anything " to frick off.

I don't believe Auburn found more dirt on him. Jacobs knew Malzahn would be the next coach a long time ago.

From just the briefest report of his phone interview with AU's search committee, he apparently got backed into a corner over some personal questions, lost his temper, & that was the end of that. So, not a stretch to imagine that he was confronted with possible new skeletons out there. If he cann't handle a private interview with a search committe, how could he possibly handle the media on a regular basis if he became a school's HC? He should betoast, at least for 2013.
