Toddy, JC was never anything but polite and respectful to you. Is there a reason you've returned after 1 month to find a thread to come in and gloat over?
The only thing this threads needs to be complete and fall in line with the October circus Rex with another video.
Who cares if JC trolled us or not. I think Roger hit the nail on the head - people believed because they wanted to or even in some cases needed to.

JC gained credibility because he has access to the days political news hours before it was published. And he cherry picked the stories that were favorable to Romney for the most part which fed right into the Romney supporters open arms. Admittedly his comments/predictions gave me a sliver of hope too.

I know. I like him. I'm not laughing at him. I just think it's kinda funny how everyone on this board hung on to everything he said.

To be fair even the top pollsters got it wrong. He was providing info that was coming into the news room. Really not a big deal imo. He should just be like the others and continue on. No one is talking about Rove, Morris, etc. today.

Then Romney was stellar in the debates - showed Obama to be a complete dumbass, without a coherent thought in his head.
I began to have hope that we could pull this off and I will admit that JC was singing a siren's song that was hard to ignore.
When Sandy occurred, I felt it was a setback for our side, giving Obama a spotlight when he needed it most.
I was still hopeful on election day, but when the returns started coming it I just went to bed - knew it was all over.

other then Rasmussen everyone got it right, even Gallup came back at the end. It was the people on this board who got it wrong and were insisting the polls were wrong.
