I know I'll get slammed and attacked on here when I bring this up,but, I've to reveal it to anyone who cares. I know this is an LSU board,but,here goes. I just went to Wal-Mart shopping. I walked up to check-out and 5 young women with small children were in line ahead of me. They had all kinds of expensive meat,bakery, and frozen foods,a lot. After they paid with their EBT Food Stamp card, I watched them go over to the service desk and return a lot of it for cash. I was p.o.'d when they walked right over to toys and bought what looked like Christmas present toys with the food stamps cash. It's not right. One of them took a $20 bill and went over to get cigarettes. There's so much abuse and fraud. About 6 months ago I hired a painter to paint one of our store buildings. He asked for an advance on his money, I couldn't. He left and came back in 45 minutes all happy. He went to someone and sold $300.00 worth of Food Stamps for $100.00 to pay his cell phone bill that day before they cut it off. These 2 things happened to me regarding food stamps this year. Is it right?

They need to make it where if you return the food, you show the receipt and it specifies on that receipt you paid with an EBT card. Then they simply swipe the card and put the money back on it. Simple fix to this problem but they won't do it.

How do you feel about tax fraud? What are the comparable numbers that each costs the country each year?

I know a few people that sell there EBT card at .50 on the dollar, it happens alot.

This abuse sucks! No Grace! The Lord sees all. When I see abuse like this I have to ask God for patience. I know they will answer for it one day.
