Google Joshua Chamberlain. Maybe that will give you a clue to who he was and his affiliations.

Exit polling is so poor the pollsters must be lucky to find the door.

Yep, never bought into it. I have been predicting 4 more years of Obama since the Republican primaries.

joshua chamberlain was pretty famous in the civil war, so I doubt that yields much. Maybe just call the weather channel and ask for josh. i don't think he was a troll, just delusional.

Oh my, how did I miss his "Sorry" thread? Some of the responses to him are hilarious.

Bachman Perry Santorum Romney was not great by any means, but the candidates that were "better" also had serious flaws. For instance, RP would've gotten obliterated in the debates because his delivery is abysmal.

That is was knocked me for a loop. The fact that the folks who didn't show back up for Obama didn't come over to our side and the fact that those who stayed home and didn't go Mc Cain stayed home again.

There were a couple others, Toddy. It was closer than I thought though, I figured it would be a runaway.

Hmmm, ok, I hated romney but I have to say I thought he had a good chance pre sandy and it had zero to do with JC. So I guess rubio as a vp wouldn't have sold you either? One thing I did know was that romney getting Penn was fool's gold. Your not winning that state imho.

The Republican primaries reminded me a lot of the first couple weeks of American Idol, when all they show are the loony, semi-crazy singing people. As soon as I saw that circus freak show of a lineup, I told my wife the R's had no chance.

I couldn't disagree more. Of course you could be right, but that man trolled the hell out of this board and got his knob slobbed all over by people who just wanted to believe everything he posted.

I believe in one of his last posts, he said if he was wrong he would self ban himself. So, you're not going to get him to come back here again probably. I think he truly believed what he wrote. Heck, I was shocked with the way things went election night. The fact that Romney did not even get the numbers McCain got still confuses the hell out of me. McCain was such a weak candidate, yet he got more of the vote than Romney, after the last 4 awful years? I think Romney himself was surprised, and he paid millions to "smart" people who were telling him he was going to win.

No, the country has changed and you can't pick pick someone like Romney, or anyone in the primaries and expect to win. People believed JC because they really wanted to believe.

Totally agree. I have no idea what his credentials were but people were acting as though his predictions were infallible. But, like you said, they desperately wanted him to be right.
