we do get a christmas bonus (thought the don't call it that)...ours is based on corporate financial performance and all non-union folks get 3%-4% depending on the kind of year we had....
the fricked up thing about it is, they hand them out during a meeting of all employees...the non-union folks get a check and the union folks don't...needless to say, there are some pissed off dudes around after that meeting happens each year...

Get a yearly bonus in early spring and some kind of worthless little thingy at crimus time.

Wife got 20k, my buyers closed on a 1.35M house in Belle Meade last week, puts us over 250k, first time ever.

Work for a private company (O&G Industry)
We got $250 last year
We have a Christmas Party at a real nice steak house.
We are off 12/24-1/1 as well

I honestly have no idea, so it will truly be a bonus if so.
I just started here in early November. I moved from working for the state to private industry, so my salary went up about 50%. We also get quarterly and annual bonuses (bonii?) that are around 20-30% of our salary. So, I honestly DGAF if we get a Christmas bonus or not. I've been blessed this year either way.

Had my yearly review yesterday and they also informed me that my bonus would be a little more than half of what it was last year.
