Growing up, I always heard LSU was Deaf Valley because we were so loud. (and yes that was a long time ago) I like Deaf Valley!

I don't know - I used to correct people, thinking they were just saying it wrong, until I started seeing it in LSU articles and print years ago.
I personally think 'Deaf Valley' is a lot more original and on point, but then, they didn't ask me....!

Are you in LA with location specific searches turned on? When I search "death valley" I get very little in the way of football.

And when I search "death valley stadium" it alternates LSU, Clem a few times then brings up debates about which one is the "real" one.
