It's a child nickname not to different from Les. His brother called him Dat Boy and it morphed into Dabo.

Y'all realize that we have a player on our team that prefers to be called "Debo" right? That's extremely similar to Dabo and is equally strange if you ask me.

Kadrone
Chancey
There are several others. As LSU fans, I don't think we can really talk bad about the name of a coach/player of an opposing team. We've got some ridiculous ones and more.
