Thought it was funny tonight on the news that they were complaining that since Tx raised the speed limit on I20 to 75mph that they weren't making enough money writing tickets

they sure as hell made money off me a few years ago as I was getting passed by vehicles with texas plates 
ETA: i was speeding so i am not bitching about the deserving the ticket, I was going 83, just found it funny that I was in the slow lane getting passed by Texas vehicles and I got pulled over

Worst speed trap in the world, Waskom. I never passed through when I didn't see at least one person pulled over. They are horrible there.

I have no idea how I've never been pulled over for speeding before. I always do, and it's not like I have a radar detector letting me know where cops are. I guess having Texas plates helps in these scenarios.

All the cops were probably tied up with other "speeders" whenever you passed through. That stretch of I-20 sucks.

Washington, Waskom, and Keene, TX. Keene is the fricking worst. Doubt many of y'all have traveled through that way though.

god I hate those frickers. Never had any problems in Waskom. Washington though...

Probably the ONLY redeeming quality about travelling on the interstates in Alabama is that Cities/Towns with less than 50,000 people do not have jurisdiction on the interstate.

287 between the Fort and Amarillo is the worst speed trap highway I've ever been on. at least in east Texas there's woods and stuff so people(even cops) have SOMETHING to do. there's absolutely nothing out there. it is gorgeous though

I was born and raised south of FW off of 287. Well, at least the town was, not exactly where I lived.
I didn't venture up that way too often. Just started going to Lubbock recently to visit friends, but I just take 20 to 84.

I got pulled over by a Washington cop one time, dude was wearing gloves with stop signs in the palm.
