The worse thing about attending sec games is the officiating, it has always sucked. One would assume the top conference in the nation would have the top officials, but it just isn't so, it's our weakest link. We just have settle for the best coaches, players, fans, and most beautiful women on the planet. Really sucks.

Everyone mentions jc copelands penalty, but bama didn't get called when Mingo went flying!......one of the worst calls was Aaron murray getting rocked after a turnover with the ref watching. CBS even said it should have been a penalty. If I were richt, I would have made sure mccarron was rocked later on.....I really struggle watching bama games, get too mad about penalties not being called.

When LSU played at Alabama last year, there were at least 5 or 6 hits out of bounds by Alabama players not called. When Alabama played Ga this year, Bama's defensive backs had several interference plays on receivers that were never called. SEC refs like to allow Alabama's players to play, "dirty".

Here's Exhibits D, E, F and G from the game in 2009. Lets not forget he first drive where the official marked the ball to where Jefferson had been pushed back to, not where his forward progress ended, which was a first down. LINK

If your understanding of the NCAA Football rule book comes from listening to Gary and Verne, then you should probably not post about it on a public forum.

The 2013 schedule is evidence of bias. there is no logical reason why bama is not playing Georgia next year. It is their turn in the rotation, yet it is LSU traveling to GA and Bama is playing Kentucky. The SEC does not even have to explain the decision...they just do it. When to SEC offices are in Birmingham, it means that a great number of the employees and staffers are Bama fans. Their bias is real, whether intentional or not.

That's why it's so sweet when we beat the Gumps and the refs. We actually beat two teams when we win.

You'd better go check the rule book, a-hole. It was helmet to helmet on a defenseless player... A double personal foul, if you will. Not only thst, it's chicken shite and classless. Yeah, the Alum looking into it, Steve Shaw won't call for a suspension but, make no mistake, it WAS an illegal hit.

GET OVER IT!!! They are good and they beat LSU. The blame game around here is fricking pathetic.
We beat them last year even with more penalties. The difference between the two teams is a few well timed ball placements for or against during a game. Add on well timed close calls going for or against, and you get the point. Try explaining why the review official didn't over turn the Peterson interception out of bounds call. The review was self-evident to any unbias pair of eyes. Placing three steps in bounds isn't enough when LSU plays Bama.

As well as Jefferson making a first down in our first possession in the 2009 game, yet the ref jumps placement back to where Jefferson was shoved back and not where forward progress ended. Football is a game of inches and with Alabama running the SEC, they always get a few extra inches in favor and we always lose a few extra inches.

Excellent points Stingray and duly noted. But truthfully WHO GIVES A SHIT! If LSU just takes care of business and wins their one-on-one matchup against Ala. in 2012 we are headed to the BCS for 2nd straight season instead of the mighty Crimson Tide. They beat us on our home field! I know they played a wuss eastern division schedule compared to LSU but they still deserve to be in the BCS title game in 2012 instead of LSU. Enough already. Just win BABY! We did not..... Always next year! Geaux Tigers!

They don't deserve to be there over Florida, who beat Texas A&M. The Gump argument last year to be in the BCS was "we lost to the number one team." This year they were the number one team and lost to the #15 team. Florida's only loss was to the #3 team, so using Gump logic and reasoning of last year, Florida should be in because they lost to the #3 team, which is much better than losing to the #15 team.

I don't understand why a certain percent of the people on this website want to cut down the poster, no matter what he says. If you disagree then disagree but you don't have to make fun of someone for their opinion.
