At least McConnell has some nads. He called the progressives bluff. NOT ONE democrat voted for Obamas past budget or surplus. Even they know nationalizing all banks into one and his infinity debt ceiling is a disaster and they will face 2014.
I don't think the democrats evil plan of pinning all of their crap on the pubs will work like they think.

I wish we saw more of this McConnell.
That said, simply doing this on the Senate floor isn't enough they need to get it on TV and the radio so that when everything does burn Obama can't just come back and blame it on Republican intransigence.

I doubt that was sarcasm. For the most part Senators are very friendly to each other both in and outside the Senate chambers. The only time they are really hostile is during press conferences and other PR.
