...is looking eerily similar to the Alabama coaching search. I remember it starting to look like we were not going to get anybody and then we half assed announce that RR was going to be the coach and then he bailed and we ended up with Saban.
This UT search is starting to look like they have their man but he needs to finish his monday night football contract and then he can be announced.
I still think Gruden is going to UT and I have been saying it for months, long before Dooley was fired.
Its Gruden!!

Even if this was true, Gruden wouldn't be a Nick Saban type hire.

Counting the rejections from when LK left till now, and how many coaches have turned down this job? Seems incredible when you consider UT is not a lower level SEC team, has $$$, good facilities...and gets to play bama every yr because they are rivals.
