i had a friend tell me he gets a $100. 
that's not cool
eta: i'm not getting one either, but i'd rather tell them to keep that $100 cheapass's

And if there's enough leftover, I'm going to fly you all down here to dedicate it.

most bD jobs don't get holiday bonuses do to a large amount of commission

Yes......better than a poke in the eye, but 2013 setting up to be a $20k+ bonus year.

 my friend works for a pretty big corporation, i just almost would rather have nothing.

I am in sales, so no. I will get a bonus check on the 15th. Should be high 4 or low 5 figures. I won't complain either way.

we don't get a Christmas bonus. We get a yearly bonus in Feb/March.

Hell yeah...my Christmas bonus this year is a DVD of The Dark Knight Rises. I'm hoping they upgrade to the BD Combo pack with digital copy.

My company's (oil & gas co.) parent company is an international consulting company.
They have way more money than we do.
We as their subsidiary, are not invited to their christmas party (where all employees AND their spouses get ipads or diamond earrings), and we are not on their bonus program.
Instead, our prick of a boss (from the big company)brings one ipad that he gives to the winner of a drawing at our christmas party...then we eat...then we go back to work.
