Friend of mine has a kid that has been getting picked on at school. Has been threatened by other kids that they were going to kill him in the past. Sheriffs office was called and that person arrested.
Today, he entered the gym and got sucker punched In the side of the head, fell down and landed on his hand and possibly broke it.
What would you do if this were your kid?
School doesn't want to deal with it.
Does this guy need to lawyer up and sue for medical costs etc? This isn't the first incident.

1.) Make friend admit son has the ghey.
2.) Convince him to threaten school is sitting on its hands regarding a hate crime.
3.) Threaten to contact attorney.

It's apparently several kids that are bullies in the school.
Principal won't even talk to my friend about the incident today in the gym.

Yes. The parents obviously aren't doing enough to stop their kids from physically abusing this poor kid.
If the school has refused to deal with it, you could possibly throw them in as defendants.

His son isn't gay/ ghey or anything. He's a skateboarder type in a rural area of Louisiana

That's what I told him too.
School is protecting the bullies. They didn't even call the police/sheriff regarding today's incident.

frick yes.
I hate people suing just to get money, but sue the school and the kids. Make the school be responsible for its students and make the kids parents parent their children.
Then move the kid to a new school
Also get the kid karate lessons or something
