| Having problems with my cell phone (help much appreciated) TL;DR (Posted on 12/5/12 at 2:37 am)
I would go to the help board, but the traffic is better here. I have a samsung infuse 4g. It is running on the stock Android froyo OS it came with. It constantly is rebooting and gets stuck in a loop. I will take the battery out and put it back in, and it still does it more. Usually the third or fourth removal and replacement gets it back on. Another problem is when I put it on the charger. It will bring up the battery icon, then go to boot then stop and bring the battery icon back up, then boot, battery icon, no charge, boot...rinse repeat. I am pissed at this phone. My warranty is over. This is my second refurb. I cannot afford to buy a phone out of pocket as a college student, so I might be looking at a fricking go phone or something. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this? I am going to try a hard reset and come back to update/bump. Thanks in advance. TL;DR

There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "We'll see," the farmer replied. The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "We'll see," replied the old man. The following day, the old man's son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "We'll see," answered the farmer. A week later, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors all congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. And the old man replied .."We'll see".

Reboot into recovery. Wipe and reset factory settings. Or root and install latest custom ROM and kernel to pick up speed and features. Sorry I can't comment further, I'm driving and red light texting.
