Built-in Beverage Center (Posted on 12/4/12 at 8:19 pm)
Renovating our kitchen and looking to add a built-in beverage cooler. Not wine cooler, a beverage cooler/center. What are yalls general thoughts if you have one. I like them but some say they don't get drinks cold enough like a fridge. Are they worth it? Any suggestions?

Mine gets the drinnks plenty cold. (fridgidaire) Saves a ton of room in the fridge and allows me to keep plenty of beer cold as well.. We've got two kids that will drink milk and Oj like water so it also allows us to keep enough on hand. We have one because we don't have a place for an extra fridge and if I had the option, I would prefer a whole other fridge.

Just put an old fridge in the garage. While the beverage cooler looks better, the garage fridge is more functional (extra freezer space, cold beer available after cutting grass outside, can throw groceries into fridge quickly from the car).
