Arsenal had already conceded 2nd place in the group with the lineup they fielded so I'm not too upset about the results. I won't even get into the what could have been scenarios.

The thing is that Schalke is level with Montpelier right now. Arsenal could have won its group with a win. Terrible managerial move Wenger. I'm sorry that your top players are "fatigued," you're now facing a draw with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, or Dortmund Brilliant logic.

little do arsenal fans know, it was his plan all along to finish 2nd in the group. how else will he have a surefire excuse for getting knocked out in the first knockout round?

Klopp actually showers before Champions League games. It's weird to see.

Yeah, Arsenal still having a chance to finish 1st in the group means they should have gone for the win. But after seeing the side he fielded I didn't get my hopes up for the Schalke/Montpellier match. It was disappointing seeing Schalke drop points with the side Wenger chose, but at that point I had already tossed aside the shoulda coulda woulda's. It truly will be scary facing: PSG, Malaga, BVB, Bayern, Barca, ManU

You realize that City were only already eliminated? I guess you got to get your laughs in before United tears begin to flow on Sunday.

I hope Bayern doesn't get matched up with Arsenal. Wouldn't want you to have to feel the wrath of Tommy Fußball.

I'd look for something else to talk about, too, if my team laid a royal egg on the game's biggest club stage.
