I always find myself being a do-gooder and choosing the positive choices in games, what about you? I just couldn't pull myself to make Commander Shepard be a dick.

First playthrough I generally pick the option I like most.

Good. Always good.
And when I make evil characters, I get upset with myself when I do evil things and end up neutral because I try to convert too late.

If I do anything evil in a game I get a really guilty feeling and hate myself for it, especially if it has to do with hurting domesticated animals.

The Fallout series definitely provides some choices that are evil and make you wish you hadn't done them. I remember when I destroyed Megaton I felt terrible and was glad to revert to a previously saved game although I lost a ton of work.

Only thing that bothers me about being evil is that you generally get the shite ending.
I have no qualms about being an evil prick aside from that.
Video games = escapism. No need for morality here.

The games themselves are biased. They kind of push you towards being the good guy by giving you more incentives for decency. It's not real life, I should be able to cut off a dude's fingers till he gives me the pass code to the armory.

Yeah I feel like I'm the bad guy cause I chose the easiest routes which usually involve collateral damage of some kind, but that is better than doing more work to save people.

I start out neutral to neutral good, and tend towards the good side unless someone really needs an arse kicking.
