Captain Beyond.
Early 70's cutting edge. Made up of members from Iron Butterfly, Deep Purple,Johnny Winter. First 2 albums are great but the 3rd had too many personnel changes. These guys are in my regular rotation. The stuff is still fresh for lack of a better term.
