yea, Drew played like shit, but we lost by 10. The defense played great and that in itself makes me happy. I despise the Failcons and hate losing to them, but I'm glad our defense is turning it around.

It hurts seeing the defense play well keeping the team in the game, and have the offense which had been keeping the team in game now be the cause for losing the games.
Even if the Saints are capable of standing toe to toe and beating some playoff teams they simply dug themselves too big of a hole to begin the season, and it took entirely too long for the players to start gelling under a new defensive system. Still optimistic about a playoff birth and hopeful, but the odds are stacked up against them.
