Yep and that article was a deliberate shot across the bow at Hart by someone. Either you hire our guy or you're gone. They've backed him into a corner by design.

2 totally different situations. Gruden has never coached in college football, this pipe dream was brought up by Tennessee fans, I would be willing to bet he was never even offered the job.

The pipe dream is being sold on the rumor mills through boosters. And I don't think these guys would be laying it out there if they didn't believe Gruden was a possibility. That's what the tea leaves read.
Ignoring all the smoke, you would think that Gruden is an NFL guy, he's not going to Tennessee. But that appears to not be 100%.
