re: Why are all "conspiracy theories" viewed as impossible or far fetched?

Good point by the OP.

I'd just like to inject, that Alex Jones is only a half truther. He is here to fear monger and bottle up the people that are interested in finding the truth. He is not on our side.. (saw the link was from infowars so I had to say something).

Think about the official 911 Story. It couldn't sound more histerical.

19 hijackers who could barely drive cars outsmarted a 40 billion dollar defense system and flew planes into buildings, one of them being the most secure building on earth (pentagon). All the while avoiding our air defense (because they were in the middle of multiple war games). That story is the one that sounds crazy, the truth is just long-deep and difficult to grasp because it requires a total shake up of your programmed reality.

People that refuse to believe any of the 911 truth are in denial, they don't want to have the floor pulled from under them, which is exactly what happens when you go down that rabbit hole.

Not everything on the 911 truth side is correct, for example loose change is a joke. Alex Jones is a joke.

Guys like Jim Marrs, Robert Griffin, Graham Hancock, and Alan Watt blow the lid off of the subject.

Before 9/11 the rule was get hijacked planes on the ground and then negotiate, literally no one wold have even considered shooting down a passenger jet.

US air defense are really quite minimal because it makes no sense to waste the money on extensive air defenses when there isn't a country out there that could mount a major air attack on the US. I seem to recall there was something like two fighters to cover the entire eastern US on that day, and those were alert fighters which meant they weren't even in the air.

The pentagon being secure from the ground is completely irrelevant to whether it offers any protection from the air. Even if there were missiles it could have shot at a plane, what good does that do, you kill the people on the plane and in which ever building the plane lands on in the crowded suburbs of DC.

As there were only 4 pilots and planes aren't cars, your point about 19 hijackers barely being able to drive serves no purpose.
