He had been on staff with Petrino the entire time he was at UA. AD just wanted a familiar face for the players once he couldn't get anyone to leave their current school in April.
It failed, either way, we still wouldn't have a coach right now.

I was REALLY underwhemled with Razorback Stadium the way it had been hyped up by Arkansas fans. Your facilities are not nearly as impressive as you think they are. They whole campus had a small time college program feel to it.

Sorry the campus was closed because of Thanksgiving break so 75% of the student body was back at home with family.
Throw in the fact that we had dumpster fire season.

Same was true for us last year yet that was probably the best home environment of the season.
The stadium though was really shocking. I was expecting a palace the way y'all have hyped that place up. It's alright but nothing to write home about really at all. It's a poor man's DKR.

LSU was also #1 in the nation and had #3 Arkansas coming into TS.
Pretty much the same as the game this year.
