The quick backstory: In the first round of the playoffs against Live Oak, Tut Muschmeche (might have misspelled that), LOHS's coach had his school waive its 15 minutes allotted for the band's pregame so the team could warm up longer after a 4-hour bus ride ...
Parkway decided that since it was their home game and LO decided to keep their band off the field, their band would play 15 minutes longer instead...
So Tut refused to take his team off the field during their 15 minutes. The principal came out and had the police come to escort them off the field. He resisted, and the cops cuffed him and hauled his arse off like he was Jordan Jefferson breaking into TM7's apartment complex 
Didn't think that would go over too well with the LHSAA, especially considering it was well within his rights to allow his team to warm up during that period.

Tut was handcuffed and lead off the field, he never was arrested. He has an excellent lawsuit against Parkway, Bossier PD and Bossier Parish School system - I image he will get paid quite well - which he deserves - he is a good guy.

yea, he'll win that easily, I have class with his daughter, it was pretty rough on the family from what I've picked up on. I still say Parkway's principal needs to be fired

Apparently when she's being addressed she keeps correcting people "It's DOCTOR Bourgeois."

I'm not sure about during the hearing, but I know leading up to it when she spoke to the person I know at the LHSAA she did it on numerous occasions, so it wouldn't surprise me if she did it at the hearing today.

That's the part that jumped out at me about this. There are coaches -- not naming names -- I can see getting into verbal altercations with opposing principals over this kind of stuff.
Not Tut.
I'm not pretending that I know him well, but I have dealt with him and he always struck me as being a very friendly, agreeable kind of guy.
And I might add (and I am editing to add this) a damn fine coach. Did a nice job at St. John-Plaquemine then made Live Oak a playoff team, which to me is quite an accomplishment.

I was corrected on that, by the way. Parkway wasn't even trying to make room for its band. Which makes it even more inexplicable to me.
