Im with you Hawgalude, Ive been thinking Gary Patterson all along and all this other BS has just been that BS. Long , IMO has had Patterson sewn up for a long time. Great Hire IMO and certainly someone with more character than BP.

Would absolutely love it if Patterson came, I won't believe it until it's announced but I'm getting slightly giddy.

Like what? I follow him on twitter and I don't recall him saying anything off the wall about Auburn. I'm looking at his coaching search ticker right now and the only things on there about Auburn have been widely reported. Charlie Strong (not) interviewing with Auburn, a link in regards to Jimbo Fisher's thoughts on coaching searches, saying Auburn will use a search firm and an article talking about Chizik being fired. What else has he said?
