Anyone in here a part of the early 90's DEAF DOME? Basketball was a good time back in the gap. Would smell like tiger stadium every now and again. Place use to be something special.

I'm all for packing the PMAC, but let's face it...our student section is such a fricking joke. I have gone to many games in my time at LSU, but there's no way in hell I'm sitting in those crappy seats with all of those weirdos

I think it was '92 or '93 when we played Duke. They were #1 and had Laettner. We had Shaq. The game was on CBS and CBS had the cameras stop showing the student section because we were getting too rowdy. Every time Laettner got the ball all of us in the student section screamed "HOMO" in unison. Those days were great!

I was a young kid at many of those games.....including the Duke game mentioned above. All of it was awesome!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. When the Deaf Dome is rockin, its a better venue than Tiger Stadium. JMHO.
ETA - and the student section reading the newspaper while the visitor starting line up was announced is still one of my favs for some reason.
