| What do you define as a 'perfect union'? (Posted on 11/28/12 at 7:03 pm)
Since we always talk about a 'more perfect union', exactly what is that? A world where everyone gets freebies? A world where everyone is rich? Or a world where everyone is not rich or poor, but are equally moderately reimbursed, for whatever they do? A world without money, where we use our skills to help one another?
What exactly is this 'perfect union' we keep hearing about? What would healthcare be like under it? Would we even need healthcare?
And let's be realistic, what real steps have we taken toward the so-called 'perfect union' in the past, say, 20 years?

Well joke all u want. Shows how defeatist a mentality and cynical the GOP really is. In almost half a century, the only real, and meaningful attempt at a 'more perfect union', flawed as it may be, has been Obamacare.
How ironic it has been hated by the opposition.

A world where your success is completely a product of your skills and work ethic. A world where everyone shares an equality of opportunities and a meritocracy of sorts of results. This is a just society, a free society, and a wealthy society.

One where everyone works and you get rich or poor on your own merits. HOwever when you get poor you don't take advantage of the system and the system is there to really help you. Also one where American are completely united and patriotic and where saying the pledge of allegiance is an honor and not a detriment. Where hanging the flag of our country is not frown upon but are applauded.
That's a perfect union.

Let me clear things up for u 'Christians'. A perfect union is where no one is poor or rich, and where someone's surplus offsets another's deficiency.
