I don't think Halo has done one of those murky swamp style maps that I've liked. The one in Halo 2 might have been the only other one IIRC, but I hated the crap out of that one as well.

Maybe because the games aren't too long, Never liked it though. I mainly play swat or FFA. I see they have a FFA throwback with oddball and king of the hill. Won't play it. I miss the old FFA slayer. Regicide is ok, but not the same.

Don't like griffball. I prefer slayer pro over infinity slayer and will play big team if needed. Swat is my first choice though. I will be on afterwhile. Off work today and tomorrow

For some reason I went on and started playing CTF. I actually enjoy it on this game. I got tons of sprees and running riots. My k/d spread went way up after multiple games going +~20 kills or more. Have you tried it yet?

This is of course the best Halo CTF map ever, but I really do like CTF on Ragnorak. At least when playing with friends. Now that they took out the banshee the vehicle balance is pretty good.
I actually used to hate all vehicle maps(except Warthogs), especially Valhalla/Ragnarok before Halo 4 was released, but for some reason I have really liked playing it on Halo 4.

Ragnarok is definitely good. Probably still my favorite on 4 (either that or haven). I just don't see why developers have maps on previous installments of a franchise that are loved (like blood gulch or lockout) and don't keep them around with the next installment. If bungie/343 had done this we could have a game with all those rehashed maps plus the new ones.
I'm not a developer and I'm sure it's very hard to make a map so I probably don't see the whole picture though.
