I love my Platinum. One of my favorite things about it is the 6.2 engine. However, now you can special order the 6.2 in any trim level. I have the Ingot silver with dark brown seats. No complaints here.
ETA: Ford is making the Super Dutys in the Platinum trim come 2013 too. I believe they start at only 70k too.

Ford changed the KR leather in 08 because people couldn't keep up with the first gen leather. IMHO, the new stuff is much closer to the lariat leather, just colored differently

I agree. I'm either getting base model with nothing or everything. The inbetween just pisses me off, cause they still want a good bit for them.
