Cole didn't do anything after coming on. I think this will enforce Rodgers' opinion of Cole being a nincompoop. I missed the first half. The second was a damp squib. I thought we missed Suso upfront. There were too many people slowing down the play namely - Gerrard, Henderson, Downing and Enrique. I like Enrique as an outlet in the midfield but when coupled with so many slow players around him I think the midfield just loses an edge. There didn't seem to be any creativity in the middle of the park.

Just watched the Man City Chelsea game. People are going nuts at the bridge. I understand that RDM was a favorite but Rafa is their coach now and booing their own coach and chanting against him? I guess this comes with the plastic flags.

Honestly I don't think Rafa is under any illusion he will be loved, nor does he even want to be. I think he hates Chelsea as much as he did before. He just needs to work again at some point in his life.

Good game today, boys. Enrique was giving me a heart attack in the first half. He played very well for y'all. We again lacked quality in the final third. Pablo and Michu need help. And as always we are a step slower than everyone else. Having Dyer out there earlier would have helped.
Glad the game went off well with Rodgers return. Didn't want to see anything stupid

Not a fan of that midfield. 3 almost identical players. So much possession, nothing going forward. Would rather Allen, Henderson, Shelvey or Allen, Sahin, Gerrard.
